OVERVIEW:
This beloved Adams Morgan hangout fulfills owner Bill Duggan's definition of a good bar: great sounds and sweaty people. The great sounds feature live music nightly: a funk/jazz/blues group on Sunday and Monday; R&B on Tuesday; bluegrass with Bob Perilla and the Big Hillbilly Bluegrass Band on Wednesday; and the salsa sounds of Patrick Alban on Thursday, which is also Ladies' Night. 1. I just recently discovered this place while reading an article about best bars in Washington to meet singles at https://www.flirt.com/ and out of sheer curiosity I decided to make a visit. And long story short - I was hooked right away by the overall concept of this place. Good food and great atmosphere of this place made me regret that I didn't discover it sooner. But now it's my go-to place when I want to have some fun in Washington. You should definitely check it out.
